Our daily Istanbul Old city tour starts with your transfers from your hotels. According to your hotel pick up is about 08:00 – 08:30. After we reach to Sultanahmet square, we start our tour with our professional tour guide, from the Hippodrome square, Obelisks and German Fountain.
We will pass to the Blue Mosque and visit interior; famous with its blue Iznik tiles and unique with 6 minarets, built in the name of Sultan Ahmet.
Our next stop, is Saint Sophia Museum; one of the greatest marvels of architecture, constructed as a basilica in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian.
Our last stop before lunch, is Grand Bazaar; most attractive shopping center and biggest “souk” in the world with nearly 4000 shops selling antiques, jewellery, gold, carpets, leatherware and souvenirs.
Lunch is between 12:40 – 13:20 in a restaurant near to the square.
After lunch we will visit Topkapi Palace Museum ( biggest palace in Istanbul ); imperial residence of Ottoman Sultans exhibiting Chinese porcelain, weapons, calligraphy section. Treasury and Harem sections are not included in the program and are due to extra entry.
At the last part of our tour we will visit little Saint Sophia Mosque and we will end our tour with your transfers to your hotels.
Tour includes guiding, museum fees, lunch and transfers.
Saint Sophia is closed on monday / Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesday / Grand Bazaar is closed on Sunday
